Kitchen art & styling

Somehow it’s been a while since I shared a post about our kitchen on the blog, but last week I finally made some new photos! I can’t exactly tell you why, but it’s probably because our kitchen can be so messy because of, well, life, and I’m just too lazy to clean it up for photos. But as I received some new tableware, I decided to redo our kitchen a bit and take some photos for the blog. I also bought a new art piece that turned out to fit beautifully on our brick wall, so enough reason to take out my camera and give you a little update!

With the new tableware you can see in this blogpost for Sostrene Grene, I decided to give these white shelves a makeover. I love these soft tones against our purple wall and it’s such a fresh look combined with the white. I don’t know about you, but I feel this really fits the current weather; spring is in the air!

I treated myself with this art piece from Palais, a brand I love as well. I was immediately drawn to the colors, and when it arrived I saw the similarity with our kitchen & brick wall. I love how even your kitchen can be a room where you hang art. I like to treat every room the same, and decorate them just as much as a living room. So art in your kitchen, why not?

The overall look is filled with color, just the way I like it!

I really love how these shelves turned out. There are lots of colors, and combining different materials together always works great.

Hope you liked this quick inspiration post! Thank you for reading and have a great day :)

Love, Marrit
