A new light for our bedroom on the blog today, isn’t it amazing? It’s a design by Serge Mouille and I fell in love with it from the first minute I saw it. When it comes to decorating I prefer big statements, so this light is perfect. I like our bedroom to be minimalistic, and at the moment it certainly is. Just a bed, two nightstands and some small accessories. So this light can make the statement it desires!
Because it’s so big, it’s visible from every angle in the bedroom. It has 3 arms (well, you can see that..) and they are different in length. This way it looks different from all corners. I love that it’s so big and everyone comments on it when they see it at first. We might need to get a second one for the livingroom, don’t you think? Serge Mouille designed several lights with this design, I specifically love the floor and wall light.
I bought it secondhand, always a great way to save a little money when buying design items. Usually they are in perfect condition, since people are careful with these items. The only downside with buying secondhand is that you sometimes have to drive a long time for it. This light is pretty hard to pack, so you have to be lucky to find one near you. Or in my case, drive anywhere to get the best pieces :)
The wall color in our bedroom is Stiffkey Blue by Farrow & Ball. If you’re new here; the bedroom got a huge transformation in the last months.
