I am a big fan of barcarts, as they are such a great styling option. You simply dress them up with some magazines, a plant, a light, and you’re good to go! These days they come in all sorts of colors but I’m a fan of the brass toned. They usually come in matte or shiny, and this latest addition to our interior has this vintage “used brass” look I love. Let me show you more!

It’s an item you can simply roll to any place you like, and that’s probably why I love items like this. They add interest to any corner that needs a little dressing up, so they feel like a side table on wheels, you could say!
This trolley is by Dutch brand BePureHome. I like this brand because it offers items with character and has beautiful colors.
I kept the styling fairly simple. On top a table light that adds some color and pattern. Some small items next to that, some gemstones, a scented candle, oh and, a mouse my daughter insisted should be part of this styling. Okay then :)
On the bottom layer there is a big space to fill, and in basically all my styling settings I add green to add some texture. To make sure the plant filled up the space, I stacked it some books for some height. Problem solved!

To stay in the “green theme”, a green Vitra bird and some leftover dried flowers.

As you can see, this trolley really fills this otherwise empty corner. It adds some texture, some color and some general interest. And because of the oval shape, it doesn’t feel cluttered at all. Where the Togo chair is very bulky, the item next to it compensates by feeling very light. This is something to consider throughout your interior, really combine bulkier items with light ones to keep it from feeling too heavy.

So yes, very happy with new addition to our livingroom! And it will look great in any room of our house. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day!
Love, Marrit
