Ever since VTWonen (a dutch interior magazine) used a similar bench in some of their magazines I knew I had to have one of those. Last friday I was checking my Facebook feed and this bench came up in a Vintage Furniture group I follow. It comes from Sweden and arrived just this friday. Isn’t it beautiful?
While usually I prefer contemporary design over retro I really love this bench. We don’t even know where to put it yet because there are so many possibilities; in our hallway, on our dining table, in our bedroom, name it. I think it will be moved back and forth, my poor fiance!
I am doubting what paint I should use. I would love a white version, maybe a matte black or a fresh color? I’m not sure yet! Do you have any ideas? I don’t want to keep it like this since I don’t like the dark brown color it has now. Well, I like the dark brown color but it doesn’t match our house as much as I’d like. So please share your thoughts, thanks in advance!
