If you’re a follower of this blog or my Instagram, you know my love for thrifting. But, during the global pandemic, all thriftstores in my area were closed and we weren’t allowed to go out anyway. I missed it. Stores are opening again, with new rules and restrictions. And while online treasure hunting is not the same as in real life, I did spent some time in the last few weeks trying to find some items online. And so I did! I found this absolutely gorgeous wooden side table, via Marktplaats. Let me share more of it, in today’s blog.

If you are a designlover like me, you probably immediately think of the Eames Stools when you saw this design. I did at least! And I have always loved those, they are just, well, pretty pricey for a side table. But you can imagine I had to buy this when I came across it on Marktplaats!

In our livingroom it’s pretty simply a side table, next to the couch, daybed or chair. Sometimes it hold (dried) flowers, sometimes magazines, or whatever small items. I am usually not the type for small items as I usually feel cluttered by them, but this size is just perfect as is.
But, as I painted the livingroom last weekend, I have to show you a little sneak peek of the color, and the new spot I tried for this side table! It’s such a good height for next to the Ligne Roset Togo chair, our favorite.

So I still have a few posts left with the pink livingroom walls, but I couldn’t resist a quick peak. I will show you more, very soon ♥
