The effect of vases

IMG_1336

You might know I’m a sucker for flowers, they bring so much to your home. Adding a pop of color can help a lot creating a cosy interior. Today I want to show you the effect of vases to a bouquet of flowers. I took the simplest flower: tulips. Available from january they make me feel it’s spring already (which is not, unfortunately).

In the top picture you see a white vase from Bloomingville, via OTTO.nl. I love glass vases, but I recently discovered white vases bring a lot of freshness and character. I really love this setting!

In the picture above you see a round vase, it creater a much wider bouquet. This should fit the setting, I find this too big for our dining table. But on a coffee table this could work out really nice.

A similar vase as the top picture, but a glass one instead. For the tulips – and that spring feeling – I prefer the top one. But glass vases are a classic and you can never go wrong with them.
