There it is! After a long search my dream chair is finally here! And it’s comfy, boy oh boy. I love it! Can you tell I do?
For a year now I was browsing Marktplaats (Dutch marketplace) for an Eames Lounge. I knew, if I searched long enough there would come a day this chair would be mine. Usually I only buy real design and I stay away from replica but as it turns out, when the price is right, you can win me over. Even the 4 hour drive didn’t scare me away!
It fits our bay window perfectly and it’s very comfortable to sit in. I might take away our coffee table later because it feels a bit full, but I’m not sure. Oh and while my husband used to say he didn’t like the chair so much, we now fight over who gets to sit in it. That’s how comfy it is!
With our new couch being a bit smaller than the previous one, it offers space for this chair which I am very happy about. If you will excuse me now, I am going to relax in my new chair :)
