Vintage cabinet

I usually try to only buy items at the thrift store that I immediately know a spot for, but sometimes you find something you love so much, you have to buy it even though you have no idea where to put it. That was happened with this cabinet, isn’t it amazing? I immediately fell for this green shade and it’s beautiful decor. And while it was in my way for two weeks and I was thinking I might need to sell it because I didn’t have room for it, I found a spot. In our bedroom, in the corner of our walkincloset. Yes, perfect.

Throughout the whole cabinet there are some spectacular drawing and while it’s damaged – I prefer the term well-loved, because I’m sure it is. And now, it’s well-loved in our house.

I kept the styling pretty simple, as the cabinet itself is already quite the statement. I’ve added some books, a cute turtle (that is a storage box) and some dried flowers on top. All that it needs, if you ask me.

These flowers are from a new shop called Aimélie and I love the concept of flowers that will last forever. I picked a bright red and I love the pop of color this gives to any room.

As you can see quite a lot is happening here but I think it complements each other. A vintage persian rug, a personal gallery wall, and a decorated cabinet. An eclectic mix, I’m loving it ♥

Thank you for reading!

Love, Marrit
