In the last weeks my husband and I have been very busy with updating our hallway. It started with the idea to paint our stairs – the old paint was chipped off and well, white. We wanted to add some more color to our hallway and painting the stairs would the be perfect way. Who wants to see a before shot?

You add so much personality to any room by adding some color. This color is “Warmgrijs” by Flexa and it’s from their Mooi Makkelijk line. We used this color in our house before and really like it. Funnily, the pink wall in the hallway adds a lilac touch to it but we like it! It somehow makes the two colors work even better together as they took something from each other.
This paint is created especially for floors and stairs and I would recommend this to everyone. Floors and stairs have to endure a lot so your paint needs to be able to face those challenges.
Going up the stairs you’ll see this beautiful gallery wall. We’ve also added a gallery wall to our hallway, I will update you on that one later. Keep an eye out on the blog!

Een hal update op de blog vandaag! De verf van onze oude trap was na een paar jaar intensief gebruik behoorlijk beschadigd geraakt en wij vonden dit de perfecte gelegenheid om wat kleur aan onze hal toe te voegen. Uiteindelijk kozen we voor “Warmgrijs” uit de Flexa Mooi Makkelijk lijn. Het bijzondere is dat de kleur bijna lila lijkt, omdat hij “werkt” samen met de roze muurkleur. Daardoor passen ze nog beter bij elkaar! Deze verf is specifiek bedoeld voor vloeren en trappen en dit zou ik iedereen aanraden. Deze oppervlaktes krijgen nogal wat te verduren en je verf moet daar op ingespeeld zijn.
Wij zijn ontzettend blij met deze nieuwe kleur in de gang, maar ook met het feit dat we weer een nette trap hebben! Wat een likje verf al niet met een ruimte kan doen.
We zijn in de gang ook met een nieuwe gallery wall bezig geweest, dus houd de blog in de gaten voor de tweede update!
