Vintage nightlight for Mia

A while ago I walked into this beautiful wall light at the thriftshop and I had to buy it. I didn’t have a particular spot in mind for it, but it was too cute to leave it there. It’s been laying in a closet for some time till I had the idea to put it in our daughters room. She’s 2,5 years old and being able to turn off her own light before bedtime is so cute. Like I thought this light would fit her room perfectly.

The gold matches her beige wall well and I feel it softens up the black bedrame. I love how in interior you can combine shapes, colors and interior styles altogether and it makes the room even more cosy. For me it’s a constant search to see how far I can go combining interior styles together, because I would be so bored having to stick with 1 style. This light is a great example of it, and while I feel it would look out of place in our living room, it works perfectly in this room. You can imagine I couldn’t let this beauty go by.

You can see more of Mia’s room HERE and HERE, as we just gave her room a big make-over. So if you wanna see more, make sure to click these links :)

3 important things before we put Mia goes to sleep; close the “tent”, make sure her Ostheimer giraffe is nearby and turn off the nightlight. A new step in our bedroom routine and I love it ♥

Thank you for reading and have a great day!

Love, Marrit
